Waipio Grace Brethren Church is the result of a community of people, working together to see God move mightily in the Hawaiian Islands. The Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches based out of Winona Lake, Indiana, took a step of faith and planted a church on Oahu in the Waipio Valley community. Our church was started in 1953 under Pastor Foster Tresise and his wife Peggy who were dedicated to be a church that met the spiritual needs that existed within their community. This mission was continued in 1983 with Pastor Allen David Mitchell and his wife Betty-Lou as they served this fellowship for the past 24 years. They have nurtured the congregation and kept it rooted in the Word of God. We are now welcoming in Pastor Frank L. Figueroa Jr. and his wife April. They will continue to follow the vision that was laid from the foundation... Equipping God's people with His Word, so that they can serve Him and the community in which they live. We invite you to come and join us as we study the Bible, worship the Living God, and fellowship together as a part of His family.
