It supports Project ChildSafe, which is a nationwide program that helps in ensuring safe and responsible storage and ownership of firearms. The Pike County Sheriff's Office maintains a terrorist task force for homeland security, bomb disposal unit and drug task force. The office offers services for courtroom security, prisoner transport, court-issued civil complaints, protection from abuse, concealed weapon permits and real estate sales. Located in Milford, Pa., the Pike County Sheriff's Office also undertakes cases related to civil disobediences, criminal warrants, labor disputes and civil processes.
