Riverside Emergency Service provides psychiatric and substance abuse assessment solutions for residents in south-central Massachusetts. It also offers emergency, medication evaluation, referral and prescreening services. The center provides intervention and treatment services on behalf of the Milford Regional Medical Center. Riverside Emergency Service is a part of Riverside Community Care, which is a nonprofit organization that provides mental health care and substance abuse treatment and prevention services. The organization administers more than 70 programs serving over 60 cities in Massachusetts. It serves patients with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. Riverside Community Care additionally provides short-term therapeutic treatment options for individuals and families. It offers outpatient counseling, early intervention and behavioral treatment services.
