I used to go to Cafe Sorrento on a regular basis but very infrequently lately and probably never again. The food has been deteriorating for a long time, sadly, because it used to be excellent. The bar area is extremely noisy. All in all the service is adequate, reason for 2 stars.

I have gone to Cafe Sorrento several times, the food is excellent and a affordable. I usually go on a Wednesday, which is usually quiet and laid back. My last visit was on a Friday night, which my friends and I were going out for the night. We were able to to enjoy the entertainment and sing a couple of songs with the DJ. I received good service and in a timely manner. The only complaint I would have is, whether or not the hostess was a customer or an employee. We waited at the door to be seated, we were finally approached by someone, in which she proceeded to seat us. The reason for my complaint is that in most places, you do not see hostess seating people with a glass of wine and then proceeding to drink it.

The service (especially Thelma) is excellent. The food is good. but it has been much better in the past. I have not figured out whether the excessive noise from the bar is the reason why I now do not enjoy my meals as much as I use to...

The food is great. The D.J. Franco is very talented.The owner is very sociable. He makes you feel like you are at his house. The bouncer "Joe" is very responsible. The bartenders & servers, work very hard & do a very good job. Joanne the hostess is very pleasant, & does a great job also. Sincerely, Gina P.S. Food is incredible! Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Friday nights are fun!
