For residential customers:

Get a specific date for the work to be done when the estimate is given. My case was quoted as 10-15 days from the date of estimate, and the actual work was done a month after the estimate date.

Get their guarantee to make repairs resulting from the gutter installation. A panel screen on the screen porch was gouged during the gutter installation, and no attempt was made to repair it or to pay for the repairs. Prior to the gutter installation, the screen panels were in excellent condition.

Get the guarantee that the guttering scraps will be removed from the property. Several scraps were left lying in the yard, and one scrap was left in the adjoining neighbor's yard.

Ensure concrete run off pads are realigned with any relocated down spouts.

Know what percentage of their business is given to construction companies versus residential customers. A comment was made indicating they contract with Ryan Homes. Perhaps a wiser choice is to contract with guttering companies that rely on residential service satisfaction.

Overall, the quote was very reasonable, and the gutters function well.
