The Midlothian Middle School offers classes from grades six through eight. It consists of various departments, such as elective, foreign language, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and special education. Its guidance and counseling department is an integral part of the school program. Its services include educational and occupational planning, assessment, information services, consultation with parents and teachers, group guidance and career development and testing. The school consists of various students teams, such as beacons, patriots, trailblazers, colts, tornadoes, wizards and pathfinders. Its elective courses include computer, fine arts, chorus, foreign language, physical education and technology education. Located in Midlothian, Va., the school organizes activities, such as book fairs, cheerleading and intramurals. The school is a part of Chesterfield County public schools.
