General Info

Providence Presbyterian Church is a part of the denomination of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). By the grace and mercy of God, we seek to proclaim and extol the name of Jesus Christ, our King and Savior, as we nurture and grow faithful disciples and ambassadors of the kingdom of God, in order to expand His rule and reign through the gathering and perfecting of the saints. We are Evangelical in that we believe in the necessity of personal regeneration which results in the repentance of sins and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only Savior of sinners. We are Reformed in that we believe that men and women are justified by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We are Confessional in that we believe that the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms contain the system of doctrine taught in the Holy Scriptures. We are Presbyterian in that our local body of believers is ruled and shepherded by several elders, even while we are connected to the broader denomination of the PCA.
