Greenwood High School enrolls students in grades 9 through 12 and offers a variety of educational opportunities for the physical, emotional and mental development of students. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as social studies, reading, English, language arts, science and mathematics. The school has a counselor who provides information about academic programs and career choices for students and their parents. It also offers career and technology programs in the areas of agriculture, business education, industrial arts and home economics. The school s library is a learning laboratory with books, computers, magazines and other reference materials that are available for classroom assignments, projects and reading pleasure. It additionally provides special programs for gifted and talented, homeless, bilingual, migrant and dyslexic students, as well as for students with limited English proficiency and disabilities. Greenwood High School is located in Midland, Texas, and is administered by the Greenwood Independent School District.
