Our chimney sweep business was started in 1967 by an experienced fire fighter. We became involved in making chimneys safe from a fire fighter's perspective as well as a chimney sweep's perspective. Colonial Chimney Sweep continues to remain firefighter owned and operated and your family's safety continues to be our top priority. Historical Homes are our specialty, but we also service all of your chimney needs: Cleaning, lining, caps and repairs. All work is guaranteed. Guaranteed no soot in your home! Monday - Saturday 8:30-5. We accept Cash, Check, MasterCard or Visa. We service the East Bay Area including Newport, Middletown, Jamestown,Portsmouth,Tiverton, Bristol Counties

Tim and Chris provided most excellent service. They cleaned our wood burning stove, and recaulked all of it's joints. And importantly, they were most considerate of our Covid 19 worries, wearing masks, promising to touch only what they had to, in order to do the work. Colonial has been our go-to chimney sweep for many years. One year, they even installed a TV antenna, when they were on the roof inspecting the chimney.
