Welcome to colonialindustrial.com, home of Colonial Industrial Refrigeration For four generations, Colonial Industrial Refrigeration has been a family-owned and operated business specializing in ammonia refrigeration systems. Founded in 1950 under the name of Colonial Refrigeration, the company was incorporated in 1960 as David R. Trout Associates, and returned to the business name of Colonial Industrial Refrigeration in 1978. We take great pride in working with architects, contractors and consulting engineers to custom build R-717 and R-22 industrial refrigeration projects that vary in size from small, single-stage 10-ton systems, to large, 1000-ton systems - all build according to specification, within the specified budget and time. Our systems are currently working effeciently in food processing plants, supermarket distribution facilities, cold storage warehousing, ice cream manufacturing plants, and controlled atmosphere apple storage.
