SENT TO OWNER Hello, My husband and I have lunch or dinner at Maggie's Farm Restaurant about once a week and have enjoyed it very much. Over the last month, however, I have had several minor issues at your restaurant with "accidentally" being served gluten-containing items when I go to great lengths to emphasize that my meals must be gluten free. Last weekend on 1-31-15 my husband and I sat at the bar. I ordered a gluten free salad. About half way into our meal I noticed that the meat in my salad appeared to have a very heavy coating of seasoning. Just to be cautious I moved the meat off my plate and asked the bartender to check with the kitchen that the seasoning was in fact gluten free. She told me that, because the menu said "gluten free", there was no need to ask the kitchen. I explained again that it was important for me to know if I could have a reaction to my meal. FOH: Caroline did not introduce herself, Good job introducing a new wine. I wish she knew the blend or at least showed interest when the guest showed interest. Good catch that that guest did not get both dressings. BOH: Not enough vinegar in the taco slaw, salmon topping not as good as it used to be now that it is sweet, Key lime pie sent back as all sweet, not tart.
