      Westover School is an independent, college preparatory boarding and day school for boys and girls in grades nine to 12. The school has various departments that include English, English as a second language, mathematics, language arts, history, science, arts and special programs. It offers a variety of special programs that include Brass City Ballet, International Exchange, Manhattan School of Music and Women in Science and Engineering. Its library offers space for individual study and communal work. The library contains more than 16,000 books, over 375 videos and nearly 30 magazine subscriptions. Special resources in the library include the Readers Guide to Periodical Literature. It additionally offers college counseling and testing services and information about financial aid and scholarships. The school also offers a variety of extracurricular and sports activities, such as soccer, field hockey, basketball, lacrosse, softball and tennis. Westover School is located in Middlebury, Conn.

      Regular Hours:The Middlebury Public Library is located at the corner of Crest Road and Whittemore Road, in Middlebury. Its phone number is 203-758-2634. The Library is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a reception and gallery talk by Jan on Tuesday, June 10, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
