Miami Springs Middle School is a public, coeducational school that enrolls more than 1,800 students in grades six through eight. It provides educational opportunities for the development of academic, social and career skills. The school offers a variety of academic courses, including math, science, English, social studies, foreign languages, engineering, technology education and performing arts. It additionally offers exceptional student education and English as a Second Language programs. The school s library provides a variety of reading and reference materials, as well as offers an online list of accelerated reader quizzes. It provides opportunities to participate in a variety of student organizations, such as Future Teachers of America, a student council and the National Junior Honor Society. The school also offers various athletic activities, including basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, and track and field.
