Stephen V. Avallone, M.D., P.E., is director of UHealth Premier, home of the Concierge Medicine and Executive Physicals programs, and he is an assistant professor of internal medicine. Board-certified in internal medicine, he received a medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida. Prior to his medical career, Dr. Avallone served as a civil engineer in the United States Coast Guard having received a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a master of science in engineering from the University of Illinois. Dr. Avallone was formerly the medical director of the Huizenga Executive Health Department at Cleveland Clinic Florida where he was awarded the John and Margaret Krupa Distinguished Chair in Preventive Medicine. Upon joining UHealth, he helped establish its academic concierge medicine practice, UHealth Premier.
