Dr. Sara A. Ramos was born and raised in Cuba. She attended Dental School for 5 years at Carlos J. Finlay Institute in Camaguey. She graduated in 1992 and worked as a general dentist for 5 years before migrating to the United States with her family in 1997. One of her first concern was to find her way back into dentistry in her newly adopted country. After working in different capacities as a dental assistant first and then as a Dental Hygienist Dr. Ramos passed the National Dental Boards on 2004. Later she was admitted at The University of Florida for a two year program for foreign dental graduates. Dr. Ramos graduated with honors and got her dental license on 2006. She worked as an associate for 6 years before opening her own practice on 2012. The year before, Dr. Ramos and her husband Jorge had a baby named Aimee Maria. She is a very happy and healthy girl. With more than 20 years of experience in the dental profession Dr. Ramos offers a comprehensive approach to her patient care. Her philosophy being to treat the person as a whole, taking care of their wellbeing with the same dedication she takes care of their dental needs. Dr. Ramos services include Cleaning and Whitening, Cosmetic Dentistry, Crowns & Bridges, Extractions, Root Canals, Denture and Partials, Child Dentistry and Emergencies. Dr. Ramos is certified in Invisalign, the clear way of straightening teeth because in most cases it is hard to tell when the patients are wearing the appliances. Dr. Ramos practice is prevention oriented and dedicated to her patient's health. She is committed to providing superior dental care and her goal is to help her patients to feel and look their best while focusing on long term dental health.
