Robert Russa Moton Elementary School has been a part of Miami-Dade County Public Schools for over 45 years. It is a performing arts magnet school and is located in Miami. The school offers a variety of courses related to drama, dance and music. Its theater arts program trains students in the fundamentals of diction, characterization, costume design and play analysis. The school s visual arts program offers studio experiences in drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and computer graphics. Robert Russa Moton Elementary School also organizes field trips, science fairs and math bowls. Its media center offers a collection of more than 10,000 books, periodicals and video tapes. The school s media center also houses a television studio, production center and computer laboratory. Robert Russa Moton Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 500 students in prekindergarten through grade five.
