This beautiful botanical garden is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It offers scenic paths, a beautiful lake, children's amusements, venues for weddings and other occasions. It is a cultural center with a 6 month performing arts facility featuring concerts, theater and movies. It is a place to hike, to rest to reflect in. There are lectures, workshops, and other programming and educational opportunities.

It looks like a nice place for...

It looks like a nice place for kids, but there is a lot and I mean a lot of mosquitoes. I went with my 2yr old baby and we could not stay there for no more than 10 min. so if you decide to go there go with mosquito repellent.
