- DemolitionExtensions can be granted and approved on a case-by-case basis. Even if you did a complete interior demolition and renovation of your building, you are still not exempt from the 40 year Building Safety Program. Only if your entire building had been demolished would the inspection be waived. The city does not send out an inspector to your property. The city's review is totally based on the architect's report; the architect's seal certifies the integrity of the report and any necessary repairs stated by the Architect will be required by the city.

- DrivewaysSpalling occurs when the finished surface breaks away from the base aggregate of a concrete slab. The most common cause for spalling is when the concrete is improperly maintained or improperly sealed and is exposed to winter de-icing chemicals, such as salt and calcium chloride, as well as typical freeze-thaw associated with winter weather. It can be as little as the salt that drips from automobiles onto driveways or in garages. Spalling can occur at any time... even in less than a year.

- DecksDue to the constant exposure to the environment, the integrity of the original foundation as well as water runoff from weather and the pools themselves, pool deck restoration projects often include spall repairs, deck replacements, slab repair and planter waterproofing. When the repair work deals with swimming pools, the more common repairs are waterproofing/resurfacing of the pool, applying water-proof membranes and carbon fiber injection for columns that are located both above and below the water line.

- CaulkingHigh-rise projects can encompass everything from condominiums to office buildings and industrial structures. One of the biggest challenges to any high-rise repair project is securing access to work areas. Swing stages are generally the best option, as they allow you to concentrate access only on the areas that need repair. However, this type of rigging might not be feasible or efficient on some types of structures. In which case, scaffolding or mast climbing work platforms are erected over the entire structure to access work areas. The planning and sequencing of the work also is a major factor as projects often have 10 to 20 different work tasks being performed at one time requiring careful planning and execution. The scope of work varies but can include tasks such as shoring, caulking, waterproofing, grinding, chipping, blasting, forming, and pouring occurring simultaneously.
