Dr. Mitchell Rovner completed his residency in Adult Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY, in 2019, and completed his Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Miami - Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2020. After fellowship, Dr. Rovner began working at the University of Miami as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry, responsible for clinical education and supervision, clinical research, and direct patient care. His duties are primarily on the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry service at Jackson Memorial Hospital, treating medically hospitalized patients with psychiatric issues, but he also serves as the psychiatrist for the Miami Transplant Institute, performing pre-transplant evaluations and outpatient psychiatric services. Dr. Rovner is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry, and is board-eligible for certification in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry in November, 2021. He is a member of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, the American Psychiatric Association, the Florida Psychiatric Society, and the American Medical Association.
