STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

WORST COMPANY EVER.

I recently reached out to Miami Marine Canvas to replace the damaged canvas of my 40ft cruiser's retractable sunroof. I was able to swiftly get in touch with the owner, Erlying Soto, who promptly visited my location to provide an estimate. In just one week, Mr. Soto replaced the canvas with a custom-made one. Upon completing the installation, he requested a review, to which I gladly offered a five-star rating as everything appeared to be well-done.

However, two days later when it rained, I noticed that water was pooling on top of the newly-installed retractable sunroof. Shortly after the rain stopped, I attempted to open the sunroof only to find that the canvas was getting caught in the railing. As a result, I immediately contacted Mr. Soto to report the issue. He initially answered the phone right away, assuming I was inquiring about new work.

After explaining the situation and the problems, he requested that I send him a video and pictures for a better understanding of the issue. Following our conversation, I sent Mr. Soto a detailed video describing the problem. In response, he indicated that he would visit my home to examine the issue within the next week. Unfortunately, that was the last I heard from him as he ceased responding to my messages and no longer answers my calls.

My experience with Mr. Soto leads me to believe that he is quick to offer his services and secure the sale, but disappointingly swift in vanishing when post-installation issues arise.
