Who we are Miami Live Sessions is a series of events develop by a collaboration of Siglo Events, WhiteNoise Productions and Tepui Productions in Miami, Florida. The main goal is to take advantage of the different cultures that are immerse in Miami and showcase upcoming local artist and bring acknowledge of a growing cultural movement in an original and educational way. Why we do it In the last decades the Mass Media has sell stereotypes getting the attention of the new generations. This situation ended up affecting the society in a way that the upcoming generations focus attention on this stereotypes and the values of diversity and cultural knowledge got lost. Producers, artist, big brands, events, audience and so on, are only interested and want to invest their time and money in “what sells the most” leaving on a side the content of what they’re showing to a huge audience all over the world. The world right now is focus on making money instead of what are you doing to make money. Education and values are the base of a society and seeing the news every day is easy to realize that those are almost non-existent. As a collaboration of art driven companies, culture, knowledge, and innovation gets to us through every different type of art. So we decided to create a series of event showcasing not only famous artist but small and talented artist based in Miami, Florida. The events will be involving different types of art working together at the same time to make a statement by collaboration. Each event will be produce based on a theme to make sure different types of culture gets cover and showcase the fact that there is more in the world than what Mass Media sells. There is an important point on doing live events so people can get involve and get in contact with the artist and realize that they are human beings as well. But at the same time by documenting this events we’ll be able to show and spread our message digitally to reach people that won’t be able to assist to the live events.
