"Ernesto Urday, M.D., specializes in Internal Medicine. Fellowship trained, Dr. Urday leads a team of compassionate health care professionals dedicated to medical excellence at Conviva Sable Palm. He performed a fellowship in gastroenterology after completing an internal medicine residency, both at the Wayne State University Medical School, Detroit Medical Center, in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Urday earned his medical degree from the Universidad de San Andres Medical School in La Paz, Bolivia. He has been affiliated with Humana Primary Care full time since June 1998. Dr. Urday has been recognized through the NCQA’s Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP). Clinicians who achieve DRP Recognition show their peers, patients and others in the Diabetes community that they are part of an elite group that is publicly recognized for its skill in providing the highest-level diabetes care. Dr. Urday enjoys reading, travel, and exercise."
