General Info

Dr. Maass graduated from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania (2016) before completing his internship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City (2017) and his residency in Adult Psychiatry at Georgetown University in Washington, DC (2020). Afterwards, he received specialized training through the combined NIMH / Georgetown University fellowship program in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (2021). Dr. Maass joined the faculty at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2021 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry, where he is actively involved in medical student and resident education in addition to clinical care and research. Dr. Maass specializes in treating patients with co-existing medical and mental health diagnoses in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. He is certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is board-eligible for certification in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.
