Summary- A manager was rude towards my mother due to her lack of understanding of a promotion going on.Now let's begin with my story. I entered the store alongside my family (just me, my siblings and my mother) with the intention of buying my father a pair of Croc Slide sandals. I was greted warmly by an excellent employee (her name escapes me as I write this) and then I proceeded to pick of which Croc Slide would best suit my father. I am told of the deal that is occurring in which if you buy one pair of crocs then your second pair would be discounted (no matter which you choose). We then continue to shop and look for a second pair. We spot one for my younger sibling and begin to contemplate buying them. Soon enough my youngest sister wishes to use the restroom so my mother leaves with her to do so. The lovely greeter then ask to hold my options which I comply with. I am there waiting for my mother to return taking note of all that occurs in the store. People enter and leave, the people are greeted( though they're not told goodbye), employees go to use the restroom and I see the manager Rodrigo ( though I didn't know of his position at the time) irritated. Now you may wonder how I know that he was irritated? It is because his shoulders were tense, he watched the store much like an angry guard dog, and behind his back he was flicking his fingers back and forth. Eventually my mother returns and purchases the Slides alongside some Jibits. She then thinks to take advantage of the offer I previously stated of. She is told that she will need to return the ones she bought and buy it with the second pair all together and if she were to do that she would have to wait for the manager. My mother agrees and we begin to wait. Now my other siblings wish to use the restroom and I go off to take them there(I'll spare you details of that adventure). Upon my return I see the manager has returned and my mother is upset. The manager himself seem even more irritated than before. They begin to argue over how much it would cost, with my mother just wishing to get a better understanding of the deal ( my mother is the not the most educated person as she has had a difficult life as she grew up). To which his respond was "maybe you should take a math course to better understand the deal." This infuriated my mother, so my mother left angrily, but she noticed that he began to speak angrily towards the lovely female worker. So my mother believing in woman solidarity speak against this, and tells him not to yell at her. To which he then tell my mother to mind her own business and leave. My mother is livid at this point. She tells customers of her experience as she leaves. As we exit I notice the manager Rodrigo looks towards us smug and gives us a condescending wave. To which my mother respond by flipping him off. Now I'm one who prefers to maintain a level head amongst things but that man seem just unnecessarily rude. The only reason that this is not one star is because of the lovely service provided by the female greeter who sadly was reprimanded for attempting to aid a customer.
