Located in Mesquite, Texas, Bonnie Gentry Elementary School provides academic education to more than 800 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school s library media center houses a collection of books on various topics and provides access to databases, encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers and other reference resources for students. It imparts education in various subjects, such as reading, special education programs, math, science, basic skills, music and physical education. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes a range of fundraising activities. Bonnie Gentry Elementary School is recognized by the Texas Education Agency and is a part of the Mesquite Independent School District, which operates other elementary, middle and high schools.
