Primary Eyecare and Optical of Meridian welcomes Dr. Robert "Slater" Smith as our newest optometrist. Dr. Smith is a recent graduate of the prestigious Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and hails from nearby Quitman, MS. Dr. Smith is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his wife, Arlette. Since meeting at Jones County Junior College, the Smiths have supported each other as they both pursued medical professions. As Dr. Smith commences his career with Primary Eyecare, Mrs. Smith has begun her journey as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Rush Pain Treatment Clinic.
