Founded in 1952, Southwick & Meister Inc. is engaged in manufacturing precision headstock, subspindle, guide bushings and attachment collets for Swiss-Type automatic CNC and CAM machines. Based in Meriden, Conn., it offers products, such as steel collets, carbide lined collets, meehanite bushings, knurling tool holders and MPC collet system, among others. The company also manufactures barloader collets for Alps, Azuma, Citizen Cav, FMB, Iemca, Ikura, Lipe, LNS, MTA (Fedek) as well as Robobar and Multibar barfeeder systems.
