Founded in 1976, Miller Memorial Community is a nonprofit residential community that offers licensed health care services and rehabilitative therapies. It offers a variety of residential and inpatient services, such as long-term skilled care, short-term rehabilitation, respite care and independent living. The agency also offers accident recovery services and physical, occupational and speech therapies. Miller Memorial Community organizes several group activities for its residents, which include exercise classes, picnics, holiday and birthday parties, luncheons, religious activities, field trips, bowling and cooking. It has the Center for Orthopedic and Rehabilitative Excellence, which specializes in orthopedic and surgical rehabilitation. The center offers several acute care services, such as hip and knee replacement, stroke and coronary artery bypass recovery, and diabetes and pain management.
