- 16oz Kenya Nyeri Kiamabara$32.008oz: $17.00Process: Wet; Varietal: SL-28, SL-34; Altitude: 1900 masl. This coffee comes to us from the Kiamabara factory, located near the town of Nyeri. This is a cooperative coffee - part of the Mugaga Farmers Cooperative Society - but in Kenya they're called "factories" which is quite fitting really. Think of factories as an assembly line of sorts, where there is absolute consistency to the product output. This rings true for coffees that come from many of the Kenya factories. Year after year they have an astonishing ability to consistently produce sweet, clean, and complex coffees. Like most of the cooperatives in the area, members tend to much smaller plots of coffee trees than their estate farm competition, thus having more control over the production of ripe cherry. The average altitude is right around 1900 masl and most of the small holder farmers contributing to this washing station grow SL-28, and SL-34 cultivars (Bourbon hybrid from the 1930's developed by Scot Labs).
- 16oz Ethiopia Zonegediyo Gedeb$28.008oz (Starting At): $15.00Process: Wet; Varietal: Heirloom; Gedeb District is located in the the southern part of Yirga Cheffe in the Gedeo Zone ("Zonegediyo"), and is also the name of the site where the coffee is collected and dried on elevated beds. This Gedeb site has roughly 700 local farmers who bring their coffee here for wet-processing, drying and hand-sorting. The farms are little more than large 'gardens' adjacent to homes, growing heirloom native to the region. Farmers deliver their coffee as whole cherry to the station where it is graded, fully washed, and then laid out on drying beds. The coffee is again sorted after dry-milling in order to identify any additional defects that were missed at the drying beds. Competition in the region for cherry is quite strong so farmers are paid well, especially for ripe cherry selection.

- 16oz Sweet Sussex Espresso Blend$15.00Award winning Deliciousness. A medium-mild, sweet blend. Composed of three single-origin, estate grown beans. Our espresso blend offers a clear departure from the acidic, burnt, smokey, West Coast espresso blends. Fantastic on its own, it holds up perfect in a classic Cappuccino, Macchiato, or Latte. We think Coffeereview.com evaluated our Sweet Sussex best in their 92-point review below: "Blind Assessment: Evaluated as espresso. A big winner in four parts milk. Co-taster Andy Newbom (90) had it at 9 in milk while Ken (93) went to the limit at 10. Both keyed on a big, round, peachy fruit complexity and fine balance of milk and coffee. As straight espresso dominated by fruit as well: ripe, apricot-toned, a little wine-like, with a tart "sparkle" (Andy) of citrus. But the whole sensory package bloomed in milk with particular power and completeness."
