- Paella is the typical Spanish dish (from Spain) that gets its name from the pan it is cooked in. The dish is traditionally made with a base of rice and saffron although there are other versions as you can see in our selection. Paella is a round-shallow-open face metal pan with side handles. There are as many sizes as you wish. We do the paellas to order and require a minimum of two orders per each paella It would take about one half hour to cook. We apologize to the single paella diners for the inconvenience. Specialty Bomba rice from Spain is available for an extra charge of $2.75 per order. If your would prefer it with "socarrat" (dry, crispier at the bottom of the pan) let us know and we will try to get some for you
