I left an item there for repair, and she said it would take 2 wks. I went back after 2 wks and she had an excuse as to why the repair was not ready. I returned every week for 5 weeks--always more excuses: the glue was drying, she broke 2 needles, she needed just 1/2 hr. more, etc. She even made arrangements to drop off the finished item at my house on 3 different occasions, but she never showed up nor called. After the third no-show, I just wanted to end the transaction and called her again (she doesn't always answer the phone). Miraculously, the item was now ready to be picked up. Upon examination, the repair job had obviously been hastily performed. For this I waited 6 weeks, made 6 trips to the store, and was stood up 3 times!? Only positive thing is that she refunded my deposit, so I got all this hassle, aggravation, and shoddy workmanship for free. I had been a repeat customer at this shop, but I will never patronize it again. Nothing but excuses and poor service. Beware!!
I dropped a pair of shoes off on a sat morning and the owner told me they would be ready wed pm. I went back on thurs evening, store was closed 3 hours before scheduled hours and no answer to phone call. She finally opened door and the shoes weren't even touched. She told me to come back fri at same time and she promised they would be done. I came back fri pm and they still weren't even touched. I simply asked her why she didn't take my # down the night b4 to call me when they were ready. At that point, she threw my $20 back at me without me even asking for my deposit back. I asked if she wanted my business and she said she doesn't care. I told her that i was going to recommend her store to others if the job was done well and she said she didn't care. She was very rude and obviously doesn't care about her business and/or her potential customers. I would tell anyone that asked never to walk thru her doors. I'm being nice by using the word 'rude' to describe her.
