  Katie, a Registered Nurse of 13 years earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Nursing at the University of Maryland. She has substantial experience working as a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Nurse with Cleveland Clinic South Russell and Mentor Family Health Centers. Additionally, Katie worked as a bedside nurse on the medical/surgical unit at Lake West Hospital. Her journey into the medical field began as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy over 20 years ago.

  Dr. Kucera is the Medical Director of the laser center. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He received both his undergraduate degree and his medical degree from Ohio State University. Dr. Kucera completed his Family Practice residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. He is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

  Melissa, a Licensed Practical Nurse, joined Northcoast Laser Cosmetics in 2014, and brings a wealth of medical knowledge to our team. She worked for seven years in the Cardiac Stepdown Unit at University Hospital and two years in an Urgent Care Center for the Cleveland Clinic. Our team doesn’t think she looks old enough to have this much experience! She finds great satisfaction in helping men and women in her hometown area improve their looks non-surgically. She specializes in Laser Hair Removal, Coolsculpting, Microneedling, Radio Frequency Microneedling, and is an Advanced Trained ZO Skinhealth provider. Melissa has two boys and enjoys travelling, cooking, and spending time with her family.

  Barb has been with Northcoast Laser Cosmetics since 2007. She is a registered nurse, managing esthetician and a certified aesthetic consultant. She is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Barb specializes in Botox Cosmetic® treatments, laser hair removal, radio frequency pixel skin rejuvenation, microneedling and Coolsculpting®. Prior to coming on board at Northcoast Laser, she worked in the field of cardiology. She loves working with cosmetic clients because of the upbeat nature of their care, and the fact she gets to see “real†improvement in their looks in such a short period of time.
