John Allen, DO, is a University Hospitals family medicine physician at Lake Health Physician Group Lake County Family Practice in Mentor, Ohio. Dr. Allen is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practitioners. He chose family medicine because he likes to do a little bit of everything and enjoys treating many and varied conditions. Some services he offers include osteopathic manipulative medicine, immunizations, cancer screenings, medical weight management, tobacco and alcohol cessation services, PrEP, LGBTQ+ care including gender-affirming hormone therapy for adults (in cooperation with your psychology team), contraception, and management of hypertension, cholesterol and other chronic illnesses.
