General Info

My name is Aaron Cook and I have been a practicing physical therapist since 2014. I was born and raised outside of Akron Ohio and did my underaduate degree at Walsh University in North Canton. I attended Ohio University and received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While in PT school I developed a love for traveling and did internships in 4 states in 18 months (Ohio, Maine, Oregon, Nevada). My last internship was in fabulous Las Vegas and I was offered a full time position when I graduated. I spent several years working in rehabilitation hospitals helping people get their lives back after suffering devastating injuries. I worked in the hospital setting for several years where I spent the majority of my time on the neurologic injury floor and becoming a certified wound care specialist. I was asked by my hospital to start the first "emergency department physical therapy" program in the state of Nevada and I was able to coach PT's in several states to open their own ED PT program. At the start of the pandemic I was the only PT in my hospital that volunteered to be a front line worker and spent 6 months working in the Covid-19 isolation wards providing PT services to those with severe Covid infections. While living in Las Vegas, I met my wife, another Ohio native, while watching an Ohio State football game. We have 2 beautiful "irish twins" Scarlett and Grayson. We left Las Vegas during the pandemic to move back to Ohio to raise our kids and spend more time with our families.
