Ordered filet mignon medium rare. Came out stone cold in center. Thought no problem, just send it back. Waitress brought steak back, after everybody else in party had nearly finished, steak was well done on one end and still raw on the other (how do you do that?). Waitress apologized and offered a different stake. Later, another employee (she said she was a manager, acted like a bouncer) came out to our table and rescinded the offer. She argued about the steak and questioned my ability to know how I liked my steak. I finally gave up and said I would take the raw meat home and grill it myself. Used to have company parties at this restaurant. Never again. We now go to Skoog's Parkside Grill in Menomonie, WI. 10 times better service, 10 times better food, 10 times more satisfied.

Was out for dinner tonight, the Christmas lights and decorations are a great touch! The service was wonderful and the owner even came over to say hi. Prime Rib was not available tonight but I had the Shrimp and my husband had the Beef Tips Gorgonzola both were exceptional! Where else can you find a GREAT pasta dish in Menomonie? We got Carrot Cake (which we were informed is home made) to go and it was a fantastic way to end the meal. I would recommend Jake's any night of the week! Oh, and also very affordable.

Wonderful local favorite! Best Prime Rib around!! Summer is my favorite time to dine. I can dock my boat, enjoy a few cocktails, & feast on "The Best Prime Rib" around. We love you!!
