Founded in 1978, Schunk Graphite Technology is a manufacturing and distribution company that provides carbon, graphite, fiber composite and silicon carbide ceramic products for electrical, mechanical and thermal applications. Its electrical products are used in motors and generators, wind mills, mining equipment, appliances, power tools, and light rail and mass transit vehicles. The company offers mechanical products for pumps and rotating equipment, medical devices and gas pumps. It provides seal rings, bearings, valve seats, vanes and rotors, carbon brush and brush card assemblies. Schunk Graphite Technology offers heat-resistant carbon fiber reinforced carbons and high temperature vacuum furnace components for hot pressing, soldering jigs, hot-end glass handling and medical technology. It has a more than 75,000-square-foot, ISO 9002-certified manufacturing and distribution plant and employs a staff of over 130 people. Schunk Graphite Technology is a part of Schunk Group and is located in Menomonee Falls, Wis.
