MTE Corporation is an international supplier of power quality products designed to improve the reliability of power electronic systems and adjustable frequency drives. The company manufactures line/load reactors, Matrix Harmonic Filters, EMI/RFI filters, DC link chokes, transformers, plus other products that provide power quality solutions in a broad range of applications. As a technology leader in the industry MTE has aggressive product development programs. With a global distribution system consisting of more than 240 stocking distributors located in North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia and Europe the company is able to provide local support for your power quality needs. MTE was formed in 1982 for the purpose of acquiring independent, magnetic and electronic companies, located in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. The acquisition was completed which brought together the companies known as Milwaukee Transformer, Transformer Design, Hytran and Milwaukee Electronics Corporation. Each of these companies specialized in a different field of magnetics and transformer design and was long established companies in their respective fields.
