The Special Education Department of Menominee County a part of the Menominee County Intermediate School District, provides special education services to individuals suffering from developmental disabilities. It is staffed with a school nurse, secretary, bookkeeper, superintendent, business manager, social worker, pathologist, speech and language therapists, social worker, pathologist and teachers. The department offers occupational therapy, emotional, physical and health impairment and early intervention services. The Menominee County Intermediate School District, which offers educational opportunities for the academic development of students. It operates several elementary, middle and high schools. The district also opertaes administration and general education departments. It is located in Menominee, Mich.
