We opened our doors this year in 2011. I started this company to begin with because I was tired of having so many sandals in my closet that just were not doing it for me. I was like most women. I would see a pair of sandals that had some bling on them. I would buy them, wear them a few times, and then they would sit in my closet while I moved on to another new pair. After a while I had a lot of sandals sitting in my closet, and they all had similar looks to them. I have always been a crafty type person, so I started to experiment with different ways that I could change the look of my favorite sandals. You know the ones that you always seem to gravitate back to because they may not be the best looking, but they are comfortable. My sister saw what I was doing and said that she would like me to make her sandals like mine, and then a friend did as well, and so on. Well after many different designs to make the sandals both comfortable and fashionable Chameleon Sandals was born. We may not be the biggest company yet, but I can tell you that we care about what we do and how it is done. I am the type of person that will put something together and take it apart a million times until I have it perfect. I stand behind what I make. All my designs are put together by hand, not thru a machine. I care about the products that are used and where they come from. Our web site is a green site. Generated from wind energy, and I am working towards having all our shoes come from the USA.
