I am "white as milk toast", born and bred in the south, and I love to cook! This store is my favorite international store in Memphis. It is in an old Kroger building so it is set-up like the grocery stores we are used to. The produce department is AWESOME!!!! Fresh and so affordable. The aisles are labeled well. There are items from many Asian countries, Mexico... the frozen section is good as is the fresh fish selection. Between VH, Aldi & Costco I keep my family and friends well fed---- and my grocery bills are almost 1/2 of what they were at Kroger! Try it, you'll like it!

excellent selection of international foods and grocery. I went there last weekend and were surprise with asians, fillipinos, thai, japanese and hispanic varieties. VH Foods is in the same class like Ranch 99 (California and Houston). The store is huge. i think it is used to be an old kroger. the fruits and vegetables are fresh and cheaper than kroger. It is fun to see these wide varieties of food.

it is an international grocery store that offers Hispanics, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Filipino and also the usual American products. It has many fresh fruits and vegetables. The prices are reasonable and even beat Kroger. It offers live-fish, crabs as well the usual assortment of shrimps, meats, milk, etc. I used to go to Winchester Farmer market but i prefer VH now since it seems cleaner, more organized and more variety.
