Operational for more than 15 years, Keystone Elementary School is a public institution that serves over 500 students in pre-kindergarten through grade six. It offers classes in math, reading, science and social studies. The school s special activities include peer mediators, chorus and accelerated reader. Keystone Elementary School has the largest parent-teacher association membership in Tennessee. It is a part of Memphis City Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Memphis City Schools has an enrollment of more than 110,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12. It maintains special education and career and technology centers. Memphis City Schools conduct the Adopt-A-School Program to establish productive partnerships between schools and community supporters from local businesses, civic groups and community organizations.
