The hospital needs improvement especially in the customer service department. When you call a hospital to find out the condition of a love one, employees should be more considerate in talking with a family member. I find it very applauding having to call more than 7 times to get an answer. The call directed to patient room should have been transferred to nurse's station immediately instead of letting the phone ring and ring. You do not know whether or not your love one has past away, especially when patient battling cancer. It makes you wonder if your love one is getting the best service or treatment while in the hospital. I felt like I was in a nightmare. No one cares until it happens to them. I find it very unusual calling this hospital and being transferred to customer service. There should be more options to choice from before speaking to someone in customer service.
