On way to appt. Hadn't ate (as instructed), and came into town specifically for this appt. The office calls 15 before appt time and asks if I'm going to come in..said I'd be 5 minutes late at most and she said that they would refuse to see me even 1 minute after appt time. Waaaayyyyy unpro. Explained that the reason was because they were going to take a 2.5 hour lunch break. Asked to confirm with the doctor that he would not accept me 1 minute past appt time. He apparently confirmed. Yay! Came all the way in from out of town the night b4 for it. Also the lady managing the phones (and I guess schedule) was very rude and dismissive. I assume she was the one who overbooked. In my opinion the receptionist might need a new line of work (construction, forklift etc.) All in all very disappointed in the entire office. So I hope they enjoy their 2.5 hour special lunch today (11-1:30!). I know THAT couldn't wait 5 minutes. Way uncool. For real.
