Apple Grove Alzheimer's Residence is an assisted living dedicated to memory care. Our secured campus offers 32 units for residential living and a seven day a week adult day care. Apple Grove also has a dedicated respite room for those needing a short term stay. Apple Grove offers a stimulating activity program, nutritious and tasty meals and a dedicated staff. The foremost assisted living in the Memphis area solely dedicated to memory care we have a proven record. Our staff is trained in how to care for the resident with dementia not only from a functional perspective but also in sensitivity. Apple Grove's environment for a Dementia patient is lovely and truly stimulates them with interaction and various activities but the Administrative Staff (aside from the owner) are very fake and care more about your money than your loved one. At the time my mother was attending Apple Grove there was a significant amount of drama with my mother's conservator mishandling money and picking her up, etc.; and the Administration cared nothing about what we (the primary caretakers) were dealing with. They constantly had their hand out when I was not even the Conservator of my mother's finances. The main incident that turned me away from Apple Grove was a single incident where I entered the facility, walked past two employees sitting across from each other; happened to turn around and saw the two employees pointing at me mouthing words to each other. That drew the line; it made me feel immensely uncomfortable; a way I should not feel when I pay hundreds of dollars weekly. Very disappointing.
