Established in 1984, Avlon Industries is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of a range of hair care products. It offers a variety of shampoos, conditioners, glossifiers, lotions, gels and curling wax. Avlon Industries provides cosmetologists with various professional products, such as Affirm Relaxers, FiberGuard Relaxers and DeMinralizing Treatment, as well as hair colors and the KeraCare range of shampoos and conditioners. The company has more than 75 employees, in addition to 140 contract technical consultants. Avlon Industries has sponsored various scholarships for minority students with organizations, such as the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers, Society of Cosmetic Chemists and National Association for Advancement of Colored People.
