• Root Canal Treatment
  Severe decay or tooth damage can affect the inner tooth (or pulp) which contains the canals. Root canal therapy, also known as endodontic therapy, is the process where the tooth canals are cleaned and sterilized. Wickham Dental Care offers endodontic treatment to quickly and gently remove the infected pulp and prevent any further damage.
• Apicoectomy
  When inflammation or infection persists in the bony area around the end of your tooth, usually after a root canal, an apicoectomy may be performed. In this procedure, the dentist opens the gum tissue to remove the infected area and the tip of the root. A small filing may be inserted into the root tip to seal the root canal.
