If you like dealing with total morons this is the place to go . I was looking into getting a tattoo but decided this place isn't for me . The place smells like cat piss and patchouli. I am very happy I went elsewhere to get my tattoo done .
I was in the area after coming down from Maryland to visit with an old friend that happens to be the owner. My family and I wanted to get tatted in memory of my late grandson,all seven of us and couldn't even get a return phone call.I guess he wasn't much of a friend after all, or just a poor businessman.Either way I'll have them done at home by Vince Myers,at Little Vinnie's Tattoos.
As someone who has been going to Alternative Connection for 11 years I have to say it is a great place. All the employees are awesome. Billy is mind blowing good for an artist that has been tattooing a couple years and he is extremely humble. Alley and Lisa are great piercers and really take the extra step to make you comfortable. AC is fantastic! Check them out.
Lisa is freaking amazing!! I first met her by going to the shop to get my tongue bar changed. She gave me such amazing advice and answered my questions. I just got my nips pierced by her and I was in great hands! Once again answered all my questions was completely professional! Such a clean and professional atmosphere!! I was so comfortable with the whine process!!! Lisa is now my permanent piercer!!
Last two reviews were written by an employee who was fired wife. Its the same slanderous things she wrote on Alternative Connection face book page the same week he was fired.
I love this shop been going here for years to bad they had these bad reviews. I would ask you to visit there shop i'm sure you will love it.

This store is awesome. It's a one stop shop for all your tatto ,piercing , and smoking utensil needs, along with tiki bar signs ,jewlry boxes wind chimes ect.. you need it they have it.This store rocks !!!! AAAAAAA+++++++
I had my tongue pierced there 5 years ago, and my ears pierced twice since and never had a problem. These guys know what theyre doin and theyre friendly.
I had my body piercing done here and they were fantastic, the guys that worked there were so friendly, and funny. They we so helpful, many places I talked to before them didnt really seem to know the answers to my questions, but these guys were pros, and offer the best jewlry around. I will go back!
