HAve had a straight talk phone for one week. Paid for 1000 minutes 1000 text have used approximately 200 minutes and 100 text and woke up this am and phone would not work. Talked to Pakistani customer rep for 4 hours to get phone back to working and now must wait for them to recredit my account. I am loosing money with my business. Beware, pay the extra cash for a real company...

I have now tried for four days to get in touch with someone , but the hold time was over 2 hours, does not matter what time of day you try, its the same story, a long hold time, once my phone gone died just waiting, I have yet to contact anyone there.

I would have given this zero stars but that is not an option! The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. You cannot understand them as every customer service representative is in a foreign country. You do not get the services you pay for and can't get an explanation of why and cannot get someone to fix your problem even after talking to them for over an hour!

I was told my physical address was undeliverable, just 3 days after I had received a phone from TracFone! I spent hours on hold (do not use the 867 #, I can't put phone numbers in here but 3232366 is much quicker) while supervisors were contacted. No, I would have to give a different address. It took from 2/19 until 3/7 to get this straightened out. And gee, my address worked. This phone was to be a gift - it got here way late. My phone works just great - I have no problem with the phone, only the lousley (no)customer service.

I love TracFone Wireless, Inc. The people are nice and you can understand them.
there is no customer sevice, i am still on hold for three hours. my phone has not worked for three days. they keep telling me i have to wait until they speak to a supervisor. then they transfer me to another department. it is outrageous treatment of a customer.

Worst customer service I've been in contact with. It takes a minimum of 3 daysto get an answer to a simple question. That's if you get an answer at all. The telephone support isn't any better. They have outsourced it to India or Pakistanand most don't speak English very well. If you need customer service,,,,, GOOD LUCK.

Though the phone works well, it is impossible to reach a human at Tracfone to change my credit card number which TracFone uses for my monthly charge. I continually get a recorded message stating that they have unusual call volume (I believe that) and I should try later. After trying later for THREE DAYS, and submitting emails, it is quite apparent that THEY DON'T ANSWER BECAUSE THEY JUST DON'T CARE!

If you are lucky enough to get someone to answer the phone, don't expect to get your problem resolved. Ordered accessories worth $19.98. You must be home to accept delivery or pick the package up at Fedex - no exceptions -Releases not accepted.
I wish I would have seen these comments prior to my 3 hours of no help. I am going to call the "US" phone # and try to get a person with customer service and is not patronizing. I was on last night for 78 minutes and in that time was asked 30 times permission to put me on hold for an additional two minutes. I will share with all friends and colleagues that this is a horrible experience.

you can use their phoney 24 hrs per day. where is the customer serviceafter hours when you need to deactivate your phone because it is lost. customer aggrivation is not customer service!!
YOU MUST CALL THIS NUMBER, NOT THE TOLL FREE NUMBER! If you call this number, you don't have to deal with the horrible, lame system Crapfone has, and even worse, the BAD hold music. Forget about the non-English speakers, who aren't usually there to help, only to read their scripts. Once or twice in 10 calls you'll reach a sentient being who will really TRY. Of course, you can never ask for that person in Tracfone's system suddenly ends your call.HOWEVER, I've called this number twice, once to buy time for a friend's phone(ask for Direct Sales) and the next day to add time with a PIN bought from CallingMart.com & a Promo Code bought on Ebay. Almost no hold time, with someone who speaks English! I give this particular phone number 3 stars, where I'd normally give Tracfone one star or less!
I have been a satisfied customer of Tracfone for several years. I never needed to call customer service until recently when my phone was stolen. The first two CSR's were clueless, but the the third was great. Very competent and efficient. All companies have duds; maybe Tracfone has more than its share. F. J., fire a few of those guys!
although i've suffered a lot over the times i've been through with their "customer service", if you're lucky enough, you'll get to talk to a representative who ACTUALLY can help you. without asking for a supervisor. if you happen to call their customer care number, look for Joe Cruz. He is very dependable.
Tracfone has the poorest customer service. In fact when you call in expect to be on hold for at least 30 minutes. Then they will not tell you everything you should know so you have to call back. Then they will not honor what they say and will rip you off.
At this very moment I am on hold with Tracfone's Customer "Service" line via a landline. I've been on hold for ONE HOUR & 22 MINUTES! Try it yourself 800-867-7183. This is because their product does not work --never works. I am also using just used my Tracfone to call their National Headquarters in Florida @ 305-513-4390. The call does not go through. All my Tracfone does is beep but not ring. So I tried them on another landline. No answer. Quite simply Tracfone is not only the worst communication product I have ever used - IT IS THE WORST PRODUCT OF ANY KIND I HAVE EVER USED or even heard of. I drove from Florida to NJ 2 weeks ago and the phone complete or receive a call. It failed last week in Philadelphia. And it failed 2 days ago in New York. Not exactly the boondocks where one might reasonably expect cell phone service to be sporadic. How these incompetent fools stay in business is beyond me. SPREAD THE WORD -- TRACFONE IS ABYSMAL !!BUYER BEWARE ! Hold time 1 HR 28 mins!

A Motorola C139 was purchased as a birthday present for a dear relative. In trying to activate the phone via the Tracfone website (which is a total & complete waste of time) I rec'd. a message that my phone could not be activated. Then you call their version of "customer service" (more like customer aggravation center) and cannot speak to anyone who can speak English clearly. I was told that the SIM card for the phone I purchased was NO GOOD in my zip code. I asked to speak to a CSR Manager immediately. There is DEAD SILENCE on the other end of the line. I'm going "HELLO, HELLO". Then you get "YES MAAAM" . . . ummm is your Manager physically there today???? YES. Well tell them to get on the phone. This went on for 20 minutes. From all the reviews I have read on this site, we all truly deserve much better treatment than what we have been given. I am writing a formal letter to Tracfone in Miami and also it's mother company, America Movil. My phone is going to be free!!!!
Tracfone is a "Pay As You Go" cell phone service that has some of the worst telephone connections I've ever experienced. The company is a bad one. When you call the corporate headquarters, and ask to speak to an actual AMERICAN, you will get connected to somebody who claims to be in Florida, but still sounds as if they are speaking from the bottom of a barrel. Most of the time, you are forced to speak to people in call centers in Central or South America, few of whom speak understandable English and none of whom are authorized to solve problems. They repeat everything you say as if they're trying to understand English. If I were you, I would not choose Tracfone for any kind of "Pay As You Go" service. They have myriad rules that are NOT on their website's Terms And Conditions, and these are the "rules" they toss at you if you call them with problems - and you will have a lot of problems - with Tracfone. Customer service is terrible. even from the people who claim to be in the U.S.
I received my tracfone as a gift, and also got an additional 60 unit phone card with it. This was sent to me from out of state. I activated my phone, and when I tried to add the additional units, it wouldn't add the units. I called technical support, and they proceeded to tell me that the card had not been properly scanned at the retailer where it had been purchased. I said i do I get the units then, and he said take it back to the store where it was purchased. I said how am I going to do that when it was mailed to me from out of state. The rep then proceeded to say "Well if you want the units then I suggest you find out where the card was purchased." I stated "Wow what horrible customer service!!" and hung up. They don't have great customer service, and i wouldn't use or promote the company at all ever again!!!
Tracfone had a special offer of a reconditioned phone at a low price. The new phone had a lot more features than my original Tracfone, and they promoted the ability to transfer an old phone number to the new phone. This began a 4-week odyssey of incredibly insulting, horrible customer service and at least 10 solid hours on the telephone getting the run-around. Tracfone trains its staff to repeat EVERYTHING the customer says - so customers feel their problems are understood? They ask you to "hold for 2 minutes" while their computers are processing, and this goes on forever. Even the supervisors are not "authorized" to do many things. None of them have the same info about how to handle problems. They are pleasant but totally incompetent automatons who are as helpful as the automated voice prompts. After reaching the fourth level of "supervisor", I got the "CORPORATE OFFICE" (they thought I should be impressed). That person's supervisor finally got my # transferred, after I said "FCC"!!
