The Public Defender Department of Delaware County is a provider of legal assistance to individuals accused of criminal offences by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Based in Media, Pa., the department offers legal services to those who are unable to afford the expense of presenting a defense to the charges against them. It provides legal representation to individuals charged with crimes ranging from traffic offenses to homicide in the District Justice Courts, the Court of Common Pleas and the Appellate Courts of Pennsylvania.
