The Medford public Department provides essential services to the citizens of Medford, Ore. The department provides engineering and development services related to expanding the public infrastructure through the provision of information and resources, planning, funding, design, inspection and construction. In addition, it provides pavement management strategy and infrastructure maintenance. The regional water reclamation facility provides wastewater treatment to protect the Rogue River Basin. The Medford public Department has stormwater discharge, detention and management facilities. Some of its projects include new high-intensity activated cross-walk (HAWK) pedestrian signal.
